Frantic Fran Hong has been going on every single national show she can think of! CNN, Fox, you name it! She’s cycling from Kaitlan Collins to Dana Perino to some young influencer who goes around the country interviewing politicians (but she still can’t handle me.) She’s like a whirling dervish of national television shows, and each appearance gets more fantastical, like she’s just totally making stuff up right now.
They think they’re winning these things because, when hit with some crazy thing she repeatedly put in writing, Frantic Fran just says she’s evolving and then buries the answer in a Kamala-style word salad. Her comms director, a lady who writes “based” on all of Fran’s weirdest comments and who believes capitalism is the “enemy,” started comparing her to Princess Diana, when she wasn’t referring to folks as “comrades.” Only Hong, a self-declared anti-capitalist, WASN’T really winning these things.

Anger doesn’t defeat people. As Trump knows, you look relevant and strong when powerful people are angry and reacting to you. It’s mockery that deflates a political balloon. It’s becoming a joke that’s deadly. And by Tuesday, Hong was looking like a character SNL writers made up while on a bender. She’s becoming a wild-eyed Rachel Dratch on Weekend Update, unable to answer simple questions like, “Do you want to cancel Thanksgiving?” I’d tell you Fran’s real answer, but it would take like 859 more words and state Rep. Jim Piwowarczyk told me to keep these shorter. I imagine Dratch dragging a bunch of old dictators on stage to campaign for her, from H*tler to Stalin and then claiming she’s not affiliated with their views, like Hong tried to do with Hasan Piker.
Yeah, okay. That’s like inviting H*tler to incite your crowds, taking money he raised and then letting him walk around Milwaukee campaigning for you while telling the media, “I’m not affiliated with his views just because he (and Ilhan Omar) are at my rally.”
When she wasn’t on national TV, or appearing on podcasts, Francesca’s frantic campaign was indeed putting her on stage with the hateful Twitch influencer and Communist sympathizer Piker to preach to a lathered up worshipful crowd of young white people who looked like they needed a good shower. Piker has stated that the “honorable” end goal of socialism is Communism.
Folks, the end goal here is to use Wisconsin, which he called the “people’s republic of Wisconsin,” as the DSA battleground landing strip to take over the country. See the play. It’s like Germany taking over France and establishing Vichy when the real goal was to conquer Britain and the rest of the Free World.
We’re France. The Wisconsin Democrat Party is Vichy. The Constitution is the target (DSA wants to draft a new one. They say this on their website.) Get rid of the Constitution, police and checks-and-balance system so you can dismantle capitalism and private property rights. Tom Tiffany is de Gaulle and, yes, I’ve watched Casablanca too much. “This time I know our side will win.” The affordability stuff is just the propaganda to get the masses to go along.
This is a socialist invasion. The end goal is Communism. He said it, not me. A lot of this stuff is on their website.
I think they’ve forgotten that the state also consists of old white people who go to Culvers, not just Hongheads, and that’s fine with state dad Tom Tiffany, who was watching this all like a Cheshire Cat who just lapped up a bowl of whole milk while tweeting things like, “For the record, I won’t cancel Thanksgiving.” Or Valentine’s Day. Etc.
The October Surprise Is Every Day
Usually oppo researchers carefully parse this stuff out, but you can’t wait after until the Aug. 11 primary or an October surprise when a brigade of national social media “influencers” can use the “search” function on X. The October surprise is an outdated concept, defunct in the social influencer era. If it weren’t for Elon, by the way, all of this stuff would be hidden by the misinformation censorship regimes.
It turns out that the DSA messiah is against or at least unsettled by Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, fireworks, and her “proximity to whiteness” due to having a biracial son.
They even unearthed a weird tweet where Hong bitched out her poor ex-husband in a morning post-it note for not refilling the peppercorn mill. You know, like the opposite of those women who put sweet, affirming notes in their husband’s lunchboxes before sending them off to work.
Wow, Fran isn’t sounding like a lot of fun. She even tried to address her acknowledged bipol*r diagnosis on camera. Wait until they get around to asking whether she’s still on lithium. Eventually, they will, although right now the Wisconsin media are pretending the bipol*r stuff didn’t happen.
This Is a Fiasco for Democrats
This is a fiasco of epic proportions for normal Democrats and the party itself and the liberal influencers were already cautiously repositioning. Former Wisconsin Democrat Party Ben “What’s the plan now” Wikler paused from his egotistical book tour with Pete Buttigieg to claim on liberal propaganda platform Up North News that socialism isn’t really all that bad. You know, those “right wingers” are exaggerating. Except we don’t need to exaggerate because every time I refresh X, there’s some other batsh*t crazy thing Hong once tweeted, and then they started finding all the videos.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s s*x patrol reporter Molly Beck lumped all of the batsh*t crazy tweets into a single story, since running them one-by-one would kill Hong’s campaign with a thousand cuts, and then allowed her to get away with claiming “abolish the police” was just a joke.
‘Probably Not’
However, amidst all of this, there emerged one sane voice on the Democratic side, and I never thought I’d say this, but I’m starting to like state grandpa Tony Evers, or at least this version of him, where he lets it rip on his own side. Maybe someone put sodium thiopental in his ice cream cone.
And so there stood Tony at an Appleton press conference being asked by a reporter whether he thinks Fran Hong can win against Tom Tiffany.

“Probably not,” revealed Evers. He also said he and establishment hope David Crowley were focusing on other stuff, like tornado victims in Menasha, and not “bullsh*t” on X.
Which brings me to my final point. Conservative influencers were in a feeding frenzy online, devouring Hong tweet-by-tweet like she fell into a piranha-filled stretch of the Amazon otherwise known as Twitter. Even Republican politicians got in the game reminding people how nasty “Frannie” was in the legislature, and Scott Walker is flailing away too. The governor switched his profile pic to one showing him in a 10-gallon cowboy hat, but he just ended up looking like Woody from Toy Story.
Meanwhile, David Crowley and Evers were touring the state, free of needing to compete with Mandela Barnes.
Meanwhile, every time you turn on TV, there’s a Crowley ad, and imagine all of the targeted stuff they’re sending to reasonable Democrat voters like my mom, who has been wildly confused who to vote for all summer but is now leaning Crowley because establishment powers are funneling her there. They keep eliminating all her other choices, and she won’t pick Hong and thinks Joel Brennan and Kelda Roys are too far behind to win. And she keeps seeing nice Crowley ads with Evers. When I bring up this stuff on social – “mom did you hear that Hong wrote or said X” – she has no idea what I’m talking about because she lives inside a legacy media bubble, and they aren’t talking about it. And there are a lot of primary voters like my mom.
What if Crowley is the primary tortoise to Hong’s frantic hare? Rep. Piwowarczyk made this point to me the other day. He thinks everyone should collectively shut up until Aug. 12 because, although it wouldn’t be easy, Hong is Tiffany’s best chance to win – and she gives Republicans an actual chance at a trifecta.
Crowley was behind 31 points in the last poll, which probably means he’s got too much ground to make up to win this primary. I’m guessing he grows from 7% to about 31, and it’s not quite enough, largely because people who quit will still appear on the ballot, Roys and Brennan will get a few votes, and many thousands have already cast ballots. She will probably win the primary.
But Jim has a point. It’s not over until it’s over.
