Former Attorney General Brad Schimel slammed Susan Crawford Tuesday over massive out-of-state donations made by George Soros, JB Pritzker, and Reid Hoffman, noting that Soros is “notorious for funding defund-the-police organizations, groups deadset on abolishing ICE, and activists fighting to allow men in women’s sports.”

The donations were funneled to the state of Wisconsin Democrat Party, which in turn sent $2 million to Crawford, according to Schimel’s campaign and campaign finance reports.

Schimel, who is a Waukesha County Judge and former Waukesha County DA, is running against Crawford, a Dane County Judge who, as a private lawyer, filed lawsuits to overturn Voter ID and Act 10. We’ve taken the lead in exposing her soft treatment of sex offenders.

According to Wispolitics.com, “The state Dem Party gave Susan Crawford $2 million last month after collecting a $1 million donation from megadonor George Soros and $500,000 from Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker.”

“Monday’s campaign finance reports revealed that the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is funded by George Soros, JB Pritzker, and Reid Hoffman – and Susan Crawford is funded by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin,” Schimel wrote in a press release.

“Soros, Pritzker, and Hoffman’s cash accounted for over 40 percent of the $4 million in individual contributions received by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin this past month. Half of the money the Democratic Party of Wisconsin received was then transferred to Susan Crawford’s campaign.”

“Dangerous out-of-state Billionaires from across the country funneled historic sums to her efforts to serve as the next liberal rubber stamp on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court,” Schimel wrote. “George Soros, a billionaire notorious for funding defund-the-police organizations, groups deadset on abolishing ICE, and activists fighting to allow men in women’s sports, dumped $1,000,000 into the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.”

“It is no surprise why George Soros would back a candidate like Susan Crawford; she has spent her entire career implementing a deeply dangerous and radical agenda. From releasing violent criminals, attempting to abolish voter ID, and her troubling history of coddling sex predators, Susan Crawford is George Soros’ ideal investment. On Wisconsin’s Supreme Court, Susan Crawford has an agenda and Soros is buying into it,” Schimel wrote.

Wispolitics noted, “Meanwhile, the state GOP gave Brad Schimel $1.675 million in January after it received $975,000 from Beloit businesswoman Diane Hendricks and $650,000 from Illinois businesswoman Liz Uihlein.”

Crawford raised $4.5 million to Schimel’s $2.7 million, the site reported, adding that 44.5% of donations came from out-of-state contributors.
