Wisconsin Judge Indicted – For those of you unaware of the crazy stuff that occurs here in purple Wisconsin every week, the liberal lefty judge who is accused of having aided and abetted an alleged violent criminal to escape ICE was indicted by grand jury Tuesday. As she should be. What is so appalling is that she first allegedly sent the ICE agents on a wild goose chase to distract them, then she escorted an accused violent criminal out the jury door, and then is accused of having assisted him in escaping the ICE agents out the building.
What people don’t really think about is the judge is a representative of the court, and obliged to uphold the law. She is also a judge, and that courtroom is her courtroom. Yes, judges are assigned a courtroom and after that, it’s theirs. So she is accused of having used her courtroom to help an accused criminal escape. A defendant who was there in her courtroom for her to judge him! So she allegedly took on the duties of the defense counsel instead of being an impartial justice who looks out for the safety of the public.
Even if she finds one juror to let her off the hook, the Office of Lawyer Regulation (run by the Supreme Court of Wisconsin) should revoke her law license and remove her from her position as a judge. This is so outrageous. And how can anyone who is not a criminal get a fair shot in her courtroom in a civil or criminal case?
FAA – Thank you Sean Duffy for taking on the important task of replacing the air traffic control computer system. I’m not sure people really understand what that means, and it’s far more complicated than you might think. This will mean replacing both the software and the hardware.
But, even more importantly, it may also mean building entirely new control towers. Why? Because in order to install the new system in the existing control towers, it would mean ripping out the existing systems, and that can’t happen without closing down the airports across the nation. So… the only answer is to build new control tower buildings with all new systems, test those systems, all the while keeping the old systems running in the old towers.
Once the new systems are tested and function properly, then the new system can be turned on and the old one turned off. And then the old systems can be retained for a few months to make sure the new systems work. Besides, the new systems will draw far more power and probably require fiber optics, and therefore, when ripping out the old systems, all new wiring would need to be installed as well, which is another reason for building new control towers.
So that’s my reasoning. And speaking of not fixing things…
Liberals Break Things & Conservatives Fix Them – And speaking of fixing things. Have you ever noticed that progressives, especially those who are Marxists, rarely want to spend money or time on fixing or maintaining assets (schools, bridges, highways, buildings, etc.) Air traffic controlling systems fail, bridges fall in, concrete panels fall off university buildings and also city parking ramps too, etc. etc. Stuff keeps falling apart. Some buildings in the UW are in such bad shape there is no choice but to tear them down. The UW has hundreds of millions of dollars of extra cash each year and yet they still want more money.
Some liberals don’t want to spend money on maintenance, because it’s not sexy and exciting. They instead want to spend that money on renaming those buildings, DEI, sustainability managers, and hundreds of other staffing positions – because those new employees will increase the size of government, increase the size of the union, and donate back to Democrats. It’s the circle of liberal life. Get more taxpayer money to your friends, then your friends donate back to your campaign. I despise that.
