America Is Back! [Up Against the Wall]

spot_img

The state of the union is excellent! America is back, baby!

What I don’t understand is the Democrats – the women wore pink, etc. Why do they always have to divide and separate into groups? Why can’t they ever be just Americans? Hmm, odd, even though the Democrat women were wearing pink, they didn’t stand up and applaud the first lady when she was recognized. They’re just hypocrites.

Trump’s tariffs have already had a big impact with Honda, Taiwan Semiconductor and Apple all announcing massively large new manufacturing facilities. Remember, the tariffs are against nations have their own tariffs, and in particular against Canada and Mexico until they close their borders to illegal crossings and the drugs coming across. Think about that. Canada is refusing to lower their tariffs and are willing to get hit with tariffs rather than prevent illegal aliens and illegal drugs. Canada values illegal aliens and illegal drugs more than they value having American imports and exports to America for their own people.

I’ve been saying – the U.S. tariffs are just retaliatory – charging other nations what they have been charging us for years!

The border is secure, gee, that only took a few weeks while Biden left it open for four years.

The Democrats have been exposed for their fraud and theft – of trillions of dollars of taxpayer money. And just to spite the voters, they voted against limiting women to women sports.

Unbelievable. They wear pink to virtue signal women, but when it comes to really doing something substantive, they show their true colors. A few had to be kicked out of the chamber for exposing t-shirts with signs on them. How many tantrums can they throw?

The Democrats also blew it at the speech – by heckling and interrupting, acting like children. I’m glad they did it, though, because it showed the American people exactly how they behave – like children. They have exposed their true nature. Disruption, chaos, and subdividing the people into groups. The Dems also violated the House chamber rules – no signs – by holding up paddles with signs on them. They literally oppose America itself.

And remember, those layoffs that DOGE is implementing are necessary. Yes, there will be some good people that will be let go, but the greater good of saving the country from bankruptcy is the priority. Just like when a business is in trouble, people have to be let go, expenses cut, but in the end, maybe more jobs will be saved. And America, Inc. needs to be saved. We’re on the edge of failure.

The amount of waste under the Democrats and Biden is stunning. No one, and I
mean no one (except the Democrats) favors continuing this waste. What really, really irks me is the waste in social security and Medicare. These programs are for seniors in need, and they’re bankrupt, but the Democrats have been using the funds – paying out billions from these programs. So where did the money go? The Democrats not only don’t care, they WANT the waste to continue. Don’t believe me. Just read their signs during the speech saying ‘false.’ They don’t care!

My favorite is the promise that those bureaucrats that resist the change will be removed from office immediately, as they should, because they are required to do what they are told by our elected officials. Not doing so is insubordination and grounds for firing. That’s democracy. You do what the elected officials tell you to do, at all levels of government. The biggest issue that I think the Democrats are really scared of – is the exposure of their waste, and with that, the likelihood that they cannot keep this scam going – because they know that the voters won’t put up with it. Americans are sick and tired of the waste.

And all these companies that are announcing that they are building here – that’s not a
coincidence – someone on the Trump team is calling them, working them, selling them! Then the phone is probably handed off to Trump and he closes the deal. Tens of thousands of new jobs coming. The ten-year treasury rate decreased to a lower level upon hearing all this.

The Democrats have not figured out that just opposing Trump is not a strategy. And supporting whacky policies like men in women’s sports and mutilating children are not winning strategies.

Bankrupting the country is not a strategy. And worse, the Dems oppose the Laken Riley Act that requires detention of violent criminal aliens. The Dems sat there, refusing to applaud the Act and the mother of Laken Riley. It’s just remarkable. The Dems expose their true nature as favoring violent criminal aliens over young, innocent women victims. Now you know where they really stand.

The Democrats would not even support or applaud the naming of drug cartels that murder people as terrorist organizations. They couldn’t even bring themselves to support the right thing to do – if Trump does it. Sick. Oh, they oppose law and order in our cities too. I witnessed their reactions. And they didn’t even applaud the young teen with cancer, DJ. The Dems just sat there. Arrg. They can’t even be happy for some little kid. They couldn’t applaud the release of the American hostage from Russia! What is wrong with these people?

My favorite – the mandatory death penalty for anyone who murders a police officer. Would you agree that we need an age limit in Congress? And how about that Melania – isn’t she a class act?!

Wisconsin Budget Negotiations Reach Impasse Between Evers, Legislature

(The Center Square) – Wisconsin budget negotiations have reached an impasse with both sides pointing fingers at the other in Wednesday afternoon statements.

Democratic Gov. Tony Evers said Republican Legislative leaders backed out of negotiations after he agreed to “an income tax cut targeting Wisconsin’s middle-class and working families and eliminating income taxes for certain retirees.” He said Republican leaders would not agree to “meaningful increased investments in child care, K-12 schools, and the University of Wisconsin System.”

Republican Assembly leaders said the two sides were "far apart. Senate leaders say Evers’ desires “extend beyond what taxpayers can afford.”

“The Joint Committee on Finance will continue using our long-established practices of crafting a state budget that contains meaningful tax relief and responsible spending levels with the goal of finishing on time,” said a statement from Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, and Assembly Finance Co-Chairman Mark Born, R-Beaver Dam.

Evers said that there were meetings between the sides every day this week before the impasse.

“I told Republicans I’d support their half of the deal and their top tax priorities – even though they’re very similar to bills I previously vetoed – because I believe that’s how compromise is supposed to work, and I was ready to make that concession in order to get important things done for Wisconsin’s kids,” Evers said.

Senate Republican leadership said that good faith negotiations have occurred since April on a budget compromise.

“Both sides of these negotiations worked to find compromise and do what is best for the state of Wisconsin,” said a statement from Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, and Senate Joint Finance Co-Chairman Howard Marklein, R-Spring Green.

In early May, the Joint Committee on Finance took 612 items out of Gov. Tony Evers’ budget proposal, including Medicaid expansion in the state, department creations and tax exemptions.

Born previously estimated that Evers’ budget proposal would lead to $3 billion in tax increases over the two-year span.

Wisconsin Policy Forum estimated that the proposal would spend down more than $4 billion of the state’s expected $4.3 billion surplus if it is enacted.

DOJ Begins California Title IX Investigation Over ‘Trans’ Boys Dominating Girls’ Sports

The U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division announced it is investigating California for violating Title IX by allowing males to participate in female student sports.

“Title IX exists to protect women and girls in education,” said Harmeet K. Dhillon, assistant attorney general for Civil Rights. “It is perverse to allow males to compete against girls, invade their private spaces, and take their trophies.”

In February, President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning males from participating in female student sports, and he has threatened to block California's federal funding for continuing to defy his order. With California facing deficits in the tens of billions of dollars each year, it's unclear how the state would offset any losses or pauses in federal funding.

Notably, California Gov. Gavin Newsom hosted conservative pundit Charlie Kirk on his podcast and told Kirk that he thinks it’s “deeply unfair” that boys are participating in girls’ sports.

When asked later at a press conference what this means for state policy, Newsom demurred, painting the matter as a marginal, non-issue not worth his time.

“You're talking about a very small number of people, a very small number of athletes, and my responsibility is to address the pressing issues of our time,” said Newsom.

The California Interscholastic Federation, which governs student sports in California, has since responded to Trump’s threat by announcing a new pilot program to allow girls who otherwise would have qualified for sports finals had the finalist spots in girls’ sports not been taken by transgender-identifying boys to participate in said finals.

Title IX was signed into law by President Richard Nixon in 1972 to ensure that schools could not discriminate against female students. It requires they be provided with equal opportunities to engage in athletics, extracurriculars and education.

DOJ’s letter of interest says it is investigating whether California’s Assembly Bill 1266, which requires transgender-identifying students to be allowed to participate in sports consistent with their gender identities, violates Title IX.

“As a result of CIF’s policy, California’s top-ranked girls’ triple jumper, and second-ranked girls’ long-jumper, is a boy,” wrote the DOJ. “As recently as May 17, this male athlete was allowed to take winning titles that rightfully belong to female athletes in both events.”

“This male athlete will now be allowed to compete against those female athletes again for a state title in long, triple, and high jump,” continued the DOJ. “Other high school female athletes have alleged that they were likewise robbed of podium positions and spots on their teams after they were forced to compete against males.”

Should the DOJ find California is in violation of Title IX, it says it will “take appropriate action to eliminate that discrimination, including seeking injunctive relief.”
