Senate President Mary Felzkowski, a Republican leader in northern Wisconsin, is endorsing Kevin Hermening for Congress.

“At a time when experience matters, Kevin Hermening brings a proven record of service and is ready to get to work on day one. He knows our communities, understands our challenges, and will fight for northern Wisconsin’s future,”  wrote Felzkowski (R-Tomahwak), sharing a video endorsement.

“That’s why I’m supporting Kevin Hermening for the 7th Congressional District, and I hope you’ll join me in voting for him in the Republican primary on August 11.”

“The 7th district is Kevin’s home. He served in the military,” Felzkowski, a Republican state senator, said. “He raised his family here. He built a business here. He has spent years serving the people of northern Wisconsin. At a time when experience matters, Kevin brings a proven record of service.”

Hermening is a Marine veteran, a terrorism survivor, a small business owner, a financial planner, a former GOP Marathon County chairman, and a former Mosinee School Board president who fought against masking of kids.

Sharing the endorsement, Hermening wrote: “The voices that matter most in this race are the ones that know our communities best. That’s why I’m honored to earn the endorsement of Wisconsin State Senator Mary Felzkowski.Mary has been a trusted voice for the people of Merrill, Tomahawk, Rhinelander, Eagle River, and communities across the Northwoods.
