Since January 20th, it’s obvious that the Democrats did not learn a thing from the brutal shellacking they received on November 5th, 2024. One would think that the Democrats (and media) would have done a bit of self-reflection. Maybe wander off in the woods for peace and quiet, to contemplate like Hillary Clinton after she lost to Trump in 2016. They did seem rather quiet for a few days, licking their wounds. But now they have come roaring back with a vengeance.
Shortly after Trump’s victory, several Democratic governors formed a coalition called Safeguarding Democracy. The group includes the likes of Gavin Newsom of California, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, and Jared Polis of Colorado, among others. The coalition has pledged to resist Trump’s policies on illegal immigration, environmental protections, and other Trump plans. Closer to home, Wisconsin’s own Governor Tony Evers has vowed to protect illegal criminals in our state. (Let that one sink in).
Massachusetts Senator Liz Warren has been at the forefront of this anti-Trump movement, writing scathing letters to various news outlets and agencies in which she summarized a plan to fight President Trump’s agenda. (Maybe Warren is trying to position herself for a future run at the presidency?). Recently, Warren was also in the news for ranting against Elon Musk at a protest, appearing with the likes of Maxine Waters (D- CA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Senator Chuck Schumer, and others at the U.S. Treasury building. All were shrieking about Musk.
Another protest speaker, Democratic Rep. LaMonica McIver of New Jersey, appears to be trying to make a name for herself. McIver followed in Warren’s footsteps, shouting: “goddamit shut down the Senate…we are at war!!!” Musk apparently has become the left’s new boogeyman since he and DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) exposed the corruption and abuse of taxpayer dollars via the United States Agency for International Development (USAIDS). The left is outraged that DOGE may be doing its job to make government less wasteful and more efficient! As the access to taxpayer dollars goes away, so does the power.
What exactly are they resisting and fighting against???

President Trump has accomplished so much in just a few weeks. He is doing exactly what he promised to do while on the campaign trail. Trump hit the ground running with protecting the border. He immediately shut down the Biden phone app that enabled migrants to cross into our country unvetted and fly to major cities on the taxpayer dime. His threat of tariffs with Mexico and Canada has served to force those countries to strengthen the borders on their respective sides. Border wall construction has started up again. ICE agents have had their Biden-cuffs removed and are free to finally do their jobs! Under the leadership of a real Border Czar, Tom Homan, ICE has been busy going after illegal criminals – and protecting United States citizens. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
President Trump immediately got the U.S. out of the horrid Paris Agreement, which was just a contract to use taxpayer dollars to fund ways to supposedly fight global climate change. Of course, the U.S. would have been footing most of the bill. Trump vowed to put America first and this International Treaty does the exact opposite. The wishes of global climate activists were more important than the needs of the American people. The Paris Agreement was a bad deal when Trump withdrew from it during his first term, and it’s still a bad deal in 2025. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Trump is letting any military members who were dismissed because they refused to get “the jab” (the Covid shot(s)) to return to their former jobs. Such military personnel will be granted back pay and benefits, too. Well-deserved! Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Trump banned gender-affirming care for minors. Most people with any common sense and compassion realize how horrific it is to use chemicals and/or mutilative surgeries to make a confused or mentally ill child a sex that they are not. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
President Trump will release the federal documents relating to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Robert Kennedy, Jr. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Trump pardoned the January 6th defendants, many who did little more than walk into the Capitol on that day, guided in by Capitol police holding the doors open. Sure, there were a handful of bad actors, but the majority were not. And those bad actors have probably spent more time in prison than more dangerous criminals in major cities who skate with little to no punishment due to social justice. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Trump also is pulling federal funding from schools that teach Critical Race Theory (CRT) and/or gender issues. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Trump got the United States out of The World Health Organization (WHO). WHO is a United Nations Health Agency. The United States pays one-fifth of its budget ($500 million dollars), while China appears to have more power and say over the operations. China pays only $40 million to WHO a year. China seems to have quite a leadership role with WHO, while the United States provides most of the funding. President Trump, again, did what is best for the country by exiting WHO. Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Just yesterday, Trump signed an Executive Order called “No Men in Women’s Sports.” The order rolls back Biden’s Title IX action and prohibits students who are males at birth from participating in girls’ and women’s sports and using women’s restrooms. Common sense has been restored, and another big win! What a shame that such an Executive Order was even needed in the first place! Are the Democrats fighting against this?
Unfortunately, the Democratic Party (and the media) appear tone-deaf as to what happened. They will continue their self-destructive path with their anti-Trump blinders on, failing to understand what the American voter wanted when they voted for Trump – a return to sanity and a love of country. Expect the usual judge-shopping to shut down Trump executive orders. Expect the media to be another mouthpiece for the angry left, ginning out plenty of anti-Trump stories, trying to scare the public yet again.
Let ‘em keep at it. The more they stomp, scream, and have emotional meltdowns, the more they reveal themselves to be only concerned with power. They do not care what is best for the United States. What could be next on their horizon, impeachment?
