Farmer and Small Business Owner Nate Pollnow Raises Most Ever by Secretary of State Candidate in Single Filing Period

-

Farmer and small business owner Nate Pollnow announced Wednesday “that he raised $103,894 during the first half of 2026, the most ever raised by a Secretary of State candidate in a single filing period and a clear sign of growing momentum behind Nate’s message of transparency and accountability. Nate enters the final weeks of the primary campaign with more than $48,000 cash on hand.”

A second-generation beef farmer and auctioneer, Nate “is running for Secretary of State to open the books in Madison and give power back to the people who pay the bills. His campaign is fueled by everyday Wisconsinites who are tired of the runaround and ready for straight talk and real results,” his news release stated.

“I’m excited to have the support of so many hard-working Wisconsinites who are stepping up to back this fight,” said Pollnow. “Whether it’s farmers, small business owners, hunters, or families across the state, they know we need to clean up the bull in Madison. This isn’t about politics, this is about bringing real accountability and transparency to state government.”

Pollnow’s platform “focuses on making the Secretary of State’s office the true record keeper for Wisconsin,” according to his campaign:

Searchable public registries for rules, pardons, and laws;
Full transparency on school trust lands and funds; and
An end to the bureaucratic nonsense that keeps taxpayers in the dark.

“The strong first-half performance and the endorsement of the Republican Party of Wisconsin positions Nate well ahead of the August 11 primary and sets the stage for a competitive general election in November. Contributions came from across Wisconsin, reflecting broad grassroots enthusiasm for a candidate who speaks plainly and delivers results,” says the release.
