The Waukesha County website is a great resource for all the election information you may need. It has details about voter registration, sample ballots, required documentation for voting, and absentee ballot requests. You can also find a link to the MyVote Wisconsin website which allows voters to register or view their registration status online. You will also find information regarding regular elections and special elections in Waukesha County as well as details on what type of photo ID is required when voting at your polling place. If you have any questions about registering to vote or submitting an absentee ballot, visit the MyVote Wisconsin website or contact your county’s election office for assistance.

In Waukesha County, the Clerk’s Office is responsible for all election-related activities. Voters can look up their voter history and information on the MyVote Wisconsin website as well. Generally, absentee ballots must be received by clerks at least 4 weeks prior to an election in order to be counted. Under Wisconsin law, many voters are able to submit a request for an absentee ballot up to 14 days before the election.

Voters can visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) website to view legal notices, find voting instructions and contact their local elections officials. The Wisconsin Elections Commission is responsible for conducting states bipartisan elections and provides information about absentee voting and ballot certificates. In Waukesha County, voters can visit the county website to view election dates, find out how to register to vote, locate their polling place or check the status of an absentee ballot. The county also offers a list of Wisconsin Judges who oversee election law violations as well as resources on how to contact local elections officials.

Waukesha County is home to a court election that features a Democratic Challenger Joanne Kloppenburg and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The Waukesha City Democratic Party and the Waukesha County Democratic Party are both active in promoting Joanne’s candidacy. Additionally, voters in the county can request absentee ballots through either of these organizations or via the state’s online portal. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received within two weeks after that day to be counted. The initial unofficial statewide results for this election were released on April 5th, with Joanne Kloppenburg winning by a narrow margin of less than 200 votes out of over 1 million cast. However, as absentee ballots continue to be counted in various counties throughout Wisconsin, it remains uncertain who will ultimately win this race until all counties have reported their results.

Waukesha County is one of the most populous counties in the state and is home to six state senate districts and 10 state assembly districts. During the 2018 midterms, 48 percent of Waukesha County voters participated in the election on Tuesday, November 6th. This high turnout was largely driven by support for Republicans in Milwaukee’s suburbs, which are heavily populated by suburban counties like Waukesha. The county saw Republicans win all six senate seats and seven of its ten assembly districts.

Waukesha County election information includes the use of vote machines, express vote and pollbooks to serve voters. Election clerks, Wisconsin judge and state boards are in charge of making sure all elections run smoothly and abide by state law. Witness certification is also necessary to ensure that ballots are properly cast. Voters may also choose to contain their absentee ballot with the help of an absentee ballot clerk. All these tools allow for successful elections in Waukesha County, ensuring that all eligible voters have a chance to exercise their right to vote.
